Packaging

Steritech has extensive experiences in applying irradiation to a range of packaging materials, such as nylon, polystyrene and polyethylene. Irradiation acts to eliminate bacteria and other pathogens from packaging without affecting packaging integrity.  This is particularly important for food processers and traders as it can help assure their products remain safe for consumers.  For example, we currently irradiate wine corks and casks and bulk bags for milk powder and other food exports.
