The second Ethylene Oxide (ETO) Gas Fumigation Chamber, commissioned at Steritech Dandenong Vic, has now been in operation since 1st July 2007.
Currently, both Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) directed goods and medical products are being routinely processed in the chamber.
The chamber can hold 10 standard Chep pallets or approximately 28 cubic metres.
This second chamber has provided our Dandenong plant with even further capacity to treat products using Ethylene Oxide.
