Saturday, December 23, 2006 Bushfire Season With bushfire season fast approaching, Steritech has been given the task of helping to ensure that certain equipment used by the water bombing helicopters Elvis and Shania are free from unwanted seeds, soil and insects.
The strapping and buckets, that carries the much needed water, have been sent to Steritech for quarantine treatment.
Steritech's NSW General Manager, Murray Lynch said, "As I live in the Blue Mountains, being a high fire danger area, I understand the importance of this equipment, but equally, the importance of protecting our environment from potentially devastating foreign plants and diseases."
