Monday, March 06, 2006 IMRP 2006 The 14th IMRP conference (IMRP 2006) was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from the 26 February - 3 March 2006. Over 530 people from 55 countries were in attendance.
Steritech's strong contingent was headed by CEO and IMRP Laureate George West.
The week long convention focused on the following areas:
Healthcare Sterilisation, Material Modification, Safety and Security, Market Trends, Dosimetry, Food Irradiation, Emerging Markets, Novel Applications, Business Issues, Isotopes, Technology Avancements (Gamma, E-beam, X-Ray) and New Microbial Challenges
Steritech made 2 presentations. The first was a tutorial on Gamma Irradiation and the second was on Gamma Irradiation to kill Legionnaires Disease. Both presentations were very well received.
